Several people have been asking if Jackson First Alert is still active.

Yes, Jackson First Alert is active with two certified persons at the Jackson First Alert building Monday thru Friday. They are available for 911 calls as well as transport calls for Doctor's visits from nursing facilities, dialysis and other medical stations and reasons. The telephone number of Jackson First Alert is 803-471-2647.

We continue to be an eleemosynary corporation (charitable organization: your donations are tax deductible)

It seems we have some interest in a CPR course for individuals or groups in the community. We can and will gladly provide that service for a small fee to these individuals. You may contact us at the above telephone number.

We also have an interest in compiling a list of the following persons (1) disabled (2) convalescent (3) requiring 24 hour oxygen service {in case of a power outage}.

We still receive United Way donations from persons still in the work force through designated donations. All you need to do is designate your donation to Jackson First Alert when you receive the form from your employer. These funds minus a small processing fee come directly to Jackson First Alert. These donations help keep our doors open, so remember us when United Way comes around. Thank you for supporting us.

When you are donating to your “favorite” charity at the end of the year (or any other time, death of a loved one or friend) remember Jackson First Alert.

We are also looking for certified persons in the Jackson area to become members. Most of our membership lives out of our town. So if you are an EMT, Advanced EMT or Paramedic please get in touch with someone in our group or call the number listed above.
